Apo Chaotica

Sitting inside at cottage while it's raining when it was supposed to be sunny and working outdoors whole week.

If this bloom is too similar to previous blooms, tell me and I'll drop it back to stash. Then work something possibly new when I get back home next sunday.

I think it's original enough to be published :) Incidentally, I also have criticism to offer, in that it seems that the edges are a bit rough and the cuts to black are too neat-looking and should be more blurred. But other than that, this really popped to my eyes. Good job :D

Thank you, heavenriver.
I guess should try to find other way to create those lines or falloff blur them. Log creates them really sharp which I quite like but can't work on every bloom.
But yeah thanks again =)

No problem! I know Apo is not always as flexible as UF, so I can imagine it's hard to work on the details :P But good luck!

Thank you :D Some dummy bloom, tried to use crackle sineblur combo as petal blurring. Not sure if it workseven when helped with most overused color combo xD

It's beautiful! The smoothness of the piece is astounding, as is the flow of the central part to the outer petals. Amazing work! :D

I just speak with honesty. If I do not like a piece, I shan't comment on it. If I do like a piece, I offer my reasoning as to why. ;)

Could you explain how so? I see elegance in the rendering of the piece and its movement. This is, of course, my own opinion, thus it cannot be right or wrong unless standards are set by which to compare it. ;)

Not quite sure what you mean by smoothness but I like to keep my fractals rendered smooth. Sometimes I get lazy but usually I try to keep them out of grain/noise.
For this bloom it rendered less than hour because had to leave to cottage hehe, if you zoom to most grain critical spots you see some more time in render would've helped.
